 Round Robin Tests on cement
CRIC-OCCN organizes a round robin test on cement that was initially dedicated to the laboratories involved in the certification process but CRIC-OCCN has now extented it to all laboratories interested in the concept. Each year, samples of the same cement are sent to the participating laboratories. The quantity of delivered cement allows each laboratory to carry out one strengthtest (EN 196-1) every week and physical and mechanical tests every month (EN 196-2 and EN 196-3) during one year. The results of each laboratory are sent by e-mail to CRIC-OCCN at the middle and at the end of the round robin test. An intermediate and a final report are written up and put at the disposal of the laboratories through this website. These Round Robin Tests are highly apprectiated by the participating laboratories. Thanks to the reference cementsamples at their disposal, they are able to bring potential deviations of the laboratory to light and to assess their performance with regard to the certification based on EN 197-2. |
