EN 197-1:2011 published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 19.6.2012
The references of the harmonised standard EN 197-1:2011 for Common cement have at last been published by the European Commission on 19 June 2012 in the Official Journal of the European Union. The date of applicability has been defined as 1.7.2012 and the date of the end of the co-existence period is 1.7.2013. Amongst the changes brought by the new version of the standard is the introduction of 7 types of sulfate resisting common cements (SR). CRIC-OCCN can now deliver CE-certificates of conformity against this new version of the standard as from 1 July 2012.
