Mission
CRIC-OCCN is the Belgian Center for scientifical and technical researches for the cement industry.
CRIC-OCCN offers services related to the quality of the building products. The concrete sector is the principal sector of activties.
CRIC-OCCN is working also for the development of innovation; its competence is recognised internationnally and its expertise permits to find pragmatical solutions for the clients.
Research, tests, inspections, quality audits, controle of laborata and standardisation are activities permitting to work in an environment of quality assurance.

Legal structure
CRIC-OCCN was created as research center on the request of the cement industry; it is an institution, recognised by implementation of the Belgian decree of 1947-01-30, having the traditionnal management boards: a General Council and a Directory Board (including scientists)

Activities
45 persons are employed and are developping their competence in the frame of the building sector.
Activities in Belgium, in Europe and through four continents are strengthening the competence of the team for traditionnal and innovative products.

Accreditation
The activities of CRIC-OCCN are recognised by the BELAC accreditation, the Approval as research center from the Walloon Regio and the Notification by the Belgian State at the European level.
